I WAS ONCE SUFFERING FROM PHYSICIAN BURNOUT

There was a time, not too long ago, when I was right where you may be: After long days of seeing patients, I was sometimes tearful, sometimes frustrated, and always weary. I was simply overwhelmed.

Consider

  • Are you a Medical Doctor suffering from physician burnout who has lost the joy you once felt in your practice?
  • Would you like to put an end to stress and suffering and learn to love medicine again?
  • Would you like to return to a time when it was easier to communicate with your patients and your team?
  • Have you secretly considered leaving your medical practice because of physician burnout, but realized that you’d truly miss your patients?

I understand.

After much soul searching and some wonderful guidance from a few wise folks, I realized that I could change my path in medicine. I realized that it didn’t have to be so hard.

My gift of practicing medicine was indeed a gift, not the burden I sometimes felt it to be. And I found a way to move away from burnout and stress and toward health and happiness.

My story is not unique. I know that there are many physicians who feel just as I had felt.

I’m glad you’re here.

Love Medicine Again is a safe place to engage with other physicians and explore how to put the “heal” back in health care. It’s a place to begin to restore what you love about your practice and your life. Please take a look around and make yourself at home.

My ebook, Doctor to Doctor: Simple Steps to Ease Stress, is my gift to you. You can sign up for a download in the sidebar.
